George Raymond Smith, 72, of Bolivar, died Thursday, February
24, 2005 at Bolivar General Hospital.
Born March 14, 1932 in Hardeman County, son of the late Luther
P. and Inez Vivian Yarbrough Smith, he was a minister for the
Church of Christ. Survivors include, six first cousins, Betty Bishop
of Olive Branch, Miss., Kay Rhodes, Jerry Sullivan and Sue
Pelaster, all of Lexington, and Jimmy and Nancy Williams of
Florida. He was preceded in death by first cousin, John Frank
Yarbrough.
Burial was Friday, February 25 in Rainey Cemetery near Toone.
Shackelford Funeral Directors of Bolivar were in charge.
