Mr. Tims passed away Monday night, April 18, 2011 in Toone.
The husband of Annie Stewart Tims, who survives, he worked in construction. Mr. Tims was born January 28, 1928 in Jackson to the late Clarence Raymond Tims and Clara Vernon Tims Helton and lived in Hardeman County for 50 years. He served his country in the US Navy and was a member of Cloverport Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, whom he married January 18, 1968, he is survived by two daughters, Pat Vincent of Toone and Phyllis Collins of Jackson; four sons, Eddie Tims of Jackson, Rickey and Richard Tims and Jimmy Pulliam, all of Toone; three sisters, Ann Beacham, Rachel Howard and May Murray, all of Medon; two brothers, Bobby Tims of Jackson and Shorty Helton of Medon; thirteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Douglas Tims and Ray Helton.
