Georgia Lively

She was born in Bemis the daughter of the late George and Mary Vales Russell and grew up in Bemis. She worked on the farm as she was growing up. She was married to James Lively on October 26, 1952 in Corinth, MS and made their home in Benton Harbor, MI for over 40 years and returned to West TN in 1997. Mrs. Lively was a member of the Calvary Church Ministries in Jackson, TN. She enjoyed gardening and canning vegetables.

She is survived by four daughters, Patricia Atnipp of Henderson, Shelia Schacfer of Medon, Trudy Lively of Jackson and Judy Small of Benton Harbor, MI and a son, James Lively, Jr. of Henderson; a sister Linda Huber of Benton Harber, MI and two brothers, Clyde Milliken of Coloma, MI and Gene Milliken of Benton Harber, MI; 15 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James Lively, Sr. in 2002; a daughter, Wanda Penn in 2000; a sister, Mary Frances and two brothers, Sonny Milliken and Larry Milliken.
