Mr. Harris passed from this life on Friday morning, July 24, 2020 at Maplewood Health Center in Jackson.
Born January 14, 1946, in Lacy, TN, to Haskell Maury and Birdie Mae Ridgell Harris, he was a graduate of Bolivar Central High School. Mr. Harris moved to Memphis and worked at Sears before he started a well business called Harris and Brothers in Senatobia, MS. He also worked at a casino in Tunica. He served in the Tennessee National Guard and was a Shriner.
Survivors include a daughter, Revonda Wack of Virginia; a son, Marcq Harris of Gulfport, MS; a sister Sandra Steppe of Jackson, TN; a granddaughter, Susan Wack and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Harris was preceded in death by two sisters, Sabra Vincent and Rose Harris; and a brother, Emory Harris.

When attending services for Mr. Harris, please consider the following guidelines:
* Maintain 6 feet between yourself and the next closest person;
* Refrain from hugs and handshakes;
* When you sneeze or cough, use your elbow to cover your nose and mouth;
* Wash your hands often;
* Avoid touching your face; and
* Minimize time spent in places where people gather.
