Gerald William Murphy

Gerald 'Jerry' William Murphy joined his heavenly family on November 8, 2025, at the age of 87.

Gerald was born in Calhoun County, MI on may 23, 1938, to Max and Doris (Butler) Murphy. Gerald married Aruma Marchant on June 29, 1956 and they enjoyed 44 years of marriage until her passing. Gerald was a heavy equipment operator for P&M Construction and Balkema Excavating. Gerald enjoyed hunting, vacations and woodworking. He was a lifelong Michigan resident until April 2025 when he moved to Tennessee to live with his daughter and son-in-law.

Gerald leaves behind his daughter, Pamala Timm (Kevin), granddaughter Erin Hibler (Blake) and great-grandchildren Brayden Hibler and Emaleigh Hibler.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, brother Junior and sister Lorena.
