Geraldine "Jerry" Evans

Geraldine "Jerry" Yurkovich Evans was born August 14, 1944 in Red Lodge, MT the daughter of Alma Chini Yurkovich and the late Frank Yurkovich. She departed this life on November 1, 2019 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee at the age of 75 Years, 2 Months, 18 Days.

She was united in marriage to Robert Jerrell Evans on April 15, 1967. Mr. Evans preceded her in death on July 29, 2016.

Mrs. Evans was a member of the Court Avenue Cumberland Church in Selmer, Tennessee. She worked for 30 plus years at Selmer Elementary and Middle Schools in the cafeteria. She was a volunteer at the Selmer General Hospital in the gift shop, participated in Food For The Souls, served on a scholarship board and was an election poll worker. She was an avid Alabama Football Fan!

She is survived by a daughter, Timberly Evans Avendanio and husband Bernard of Irving, TX; a son, Christopher Michael Evans and wife Julie of Murfreesboro, TN; mother, Alma Yurkovich of Red Lodge, MT; sister, Judy Lampi and husband Ray of Billings, MT; three grandchildren: Taylor Icenberger, Sydney Evans, Alex Evans.
