Gladys M. Rayborn

GLADYS M. RAYBORNwas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on October 13, 1920 the daughter of the late Ira Franklin and Ruth Lane Allen.On December 25, 1943 she was united in marriage to Fred Rayborn, who preceded his wife in death on November 26, 1971.Mrs. Rayborn was a LPN at Hardin Medical Center for 20 years. She was a member of Savannah Church of Christ. Mrs. Rayborn lived in Birmingham for about 20 years. She enjoyed volunteering alot, including with the Red Cross.Mrs. Rayborn departed this life on October 16, 2011 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 91 years and 3 days.She is survived by one daughter, Jenny Cates of Savannah, Tennesseeone grandson, Allen Cates of Savannah, Tennesseeone brother, Royce Allen of Memphis, Tennesseeone sister in law, Frances Allen of Jackson, TennesseeIn addition to her parents and her husband, she was also preceded in death by one brother, Wallace Allen
