Gladys Winborn

GLADYS CHRISTIAN WINBORNwas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on September 29, 1929 the daughter of the late Robert L. and Mary Doyle Christian.Ms. Winborn was a cashier for Citizens Bank for 30 years. She also worked for Angelica and Hunter Smith and Tallent Furniture company. Ms. Winborn was a member of First Baptist Church. She loved walking and being outdoors with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, she also loved visiting nursing homes. Ms. Winborn departed this life on September 16, 2011 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 81 years, 11 months and 18 days.She is survived by 4 sons, Bob Winborn and wife Kathy, Blake Winborn and wife Sherry and Barry Winborn and wife Shaun , all of Savannah, Tennessee and Bruce Winborn of Murfreesboro, Tennessee11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren2 sisters, Frances Davis and Mary Katherine (Kackie) Cole, both of Savannahshe is also survived by a special nephew, Steve Cole
