Glann M. Lee was born April 9, 1935 in Wayne County, TN the son of the late Albert and Lena Myrtle Morton Lee. In addition to his parents, Mr. Lee was preceded in death by three brothers, Horace Nathan Lee, Albert Lee Jr., Kenneth Lee, son-in-law, Barry Kym Polk, grandchildren, Julee Marie Polk, Christopher Mathis Polk, and five (McGee) grandchildren naturally lost before birth.

He received his formal education in the Wayne County School system having been graduated from Wayne County High School in 1953. His post high school training was received at Freed-Hardeman University (College), Harding Graduate University, and Alabama Graduate School of Christian Religion. For several years he served on the Alumni Board of Freed-Hardeman College during which time he served two terms as Vice President and two terms as President. He was honored as 2007 "Outstanding Alumni of the Year" of Freed-Hardeman University. He also served on the Executive Board of Florida School of Preaching. He began preaching at the age of sixteen. He and Craig Marie Nutt were united in marriage March 17, 1955. His preaching engagements took them to more than a dozen states west of the Mississippi River and all the states east of the Mississippi River with the exception of a few states in tha far north east.

He authored numerous pamplets and Bible study materials. His book, The Good Ole Days I know, I Lived Them) is a humorous presentation of growing up in Wayne County, TN, early life, marriage, and numerous humorous preaching experiences. He also authored "History of the Waynesboro Church of Christ from the earliest days of the church through 1954." Other books include: The Chief Shepard and the Chosen Sheep; James The Book; New Testament Conversions; and Jonah. He authored thousands of radio sermons, sermon outlines, and articles printed in various publications. Most recently, he began a series of articles in "The Wayne County News" reflecting upon his earlier life in Wayne County, TN.

Survivors include his wife, Craig Nutt Lee, of Lawrenceburg, TN, three daughters, Belinda (Lou) Anderson of Henderson, TN, Rebecca (Craig) McGee of Sikeston, MO, Lisa (David) Coy of Huntingdon, TN, grandchildren, Timothy Coy, Jonathan (Breanna) Coy, Caitlin McGee, and Crystal Anderson; a brother, Franklin (Reva) Lee of Five Points, TN; sisters-in-law, Glyna Lee, Judy Nutt Jennings, Dena Mae Nutt, Mary Lois Nutt Ray, brothers-in-law, James Alan Nutt and Jerry Wayne Nutt, numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Services will be Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Wayne Furnace Church of Christ in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Franklin Lee, Paul Coggins, David Coy, Milton Sewell, Bob Winton, and Cary Crews officiating. Interment following in Waynesboro Memorial Gardens with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge. Pallbearers are Timothy Coy, Jonathan Coy, Tommy Lee, Eddie Lee, Danny Lee, and Andy Lee. Honorary pallbearers are Caitlin McGee, Crystal Anderson and Breanna Coy, Brian Loy, Greg Morris, Terrell Crews, Jerry Duren, Garry Morton, Clovis Anderson, and James Markus.
