GLENDA SMITH MCNEIL ROGERS
Henderson, TN: Glenda Smith McNeil Rogers, age 74 passed away September 10, 2020 at her home.
She was born October 22, 1945 in McNairy County, the daughter of the late Birl and Loraine Williams Smith. She attended schools in McNairy County. She was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church. She married Danny Rogers on April 9, 1983.
She worked as a seamstress in the garment industry for many years. She worked at McNairy County Hospital and later for Pro Care of Tennessee as a home care health aide.
Mrs. Rogers is survived by a daughter, Paulette Sells (Jeff) of Henderson; a son, Tony McNeil (Connie) of Parsons, TN; a stepson, Monty Rogers (Angie) of Mayfield, KY; grandchildren, Reed Brady, Andrew McNeil, Sarah McNeil, Kristian Sells, Nicholas Sells and step-grandchildren, Cannon Rogers and Tiffany Rogers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Danny Rogers in 2012; a stepson, Kevin Rogers in 1999 and a sister, Joan Morgan.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, September 12th at Shackelford Funeral Directors – East Main Chapel. Burial will follow in Chester County Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends at East Main Chapel 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday.
