Glenda J. Stricklin

Glenda J. Ray Stricklin was born December 15, 1943 in Clifton, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Fred H. and Eva Battles Ray. She was united in marriage to John Wayne Stricklin on June 26, 1965.Services will be held on Friday, December 5, 2008 at 3:00 PM at Old Union Church in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Billy Wright and Marshall Keeton officiating. Burial will follow in the Worley Cemetery at Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County directing. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm at Old Union Church on Thursday, December 4, 2008.Mrs. Stricklin was retired from Clifton Manufacturing and was a member of the Old Union Church.Mrs. Stricklin departed this life on Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 64 Years, 11 Months, 18 Days.She is survived by her husband, John Wayne Stricklin; a son, Steven Wayne Stricklin; a daughter, Tina Renee (Stricklin) Holt; two grandchildren, Derrick and Renee Holt all of Clifton, TN; two sisters, Frances (Ray) Inman of Waynesboro, TN, Dorothy (Ray) Richardson of Linden, TN; nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, Mrs. Stricklin was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth and James Ray.
