Glenn Don Griggs

Mr. Glenn Don Griggs departed this life on Sunday, April 9, 2017 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 76 Years, 7 Months, 17 Days. He was born August 23, 1940 in Wayne County, TN, the son of the late Alfred Franklin and Mary Nell Pulley Griggs. In addition to his parents, Mr. Griggs was preceded in death by brothers, Boyd, Vernon and Ralph Griggs. Mr. Glenn was a retired factory worker from Murray Ohio Manufacturing.

He is survived by nephews, James, Steve and Ralph Griggs, Jr. all of Waynesboro, TN., nieces, April Thompson of Collinwood, TN, Betty Nell Peacock of Waynesboro, TN and Ruth Peacock of Loretto, TN, sisters-in-law, Opal Griggs, Waynesboro, TN and Jenny Griggs of Collinwood, TN.

Services will be held Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Laverne Griggs officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens , Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County directing.

Visitaion will be on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm and on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 from 8:00 am until service time at Shackelford Funeral Directors, Waynesboro.

Pallbearers will be James Griggs, Steve Griggs, Ralph Griggs, Jr., Kenneth Thompson, Morgan Griggs and Jacob Peacock.
