Glenn Prater departed this life on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at the age of 83 years, 4 months, and 1 day. He was born in Blytheville, Arkansas on July 30, 1933 the son of the late George and Ethel Doyle Prater. On October 12, 1957 he was united in marriage to Dorine (Doty) Brock, who preceded him in death on November 7, 2012.
Glenn was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He had worked for Clifton Contracting for 42 years and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Clifton. He enjoyed woodworking and fishing.
He is survived by his son, Danny Prater of Gilbert, South Carolina; grandchildren, Brian and Stephanie; sisters, Dorothy, Ville Sue, and Betty; and brother, Larry Prater.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Prater.
