Glenna Kay Smith Lucas was born July 18, 1947 in Henderson, the daughter of John Riley and Mary Gladys Terry Smith. She grew up in Henderson and graduated from Chester County High School in 1965. She married Donald Lucas on August 31, 1965 and they lived in Augusta, Georgia for two years while Donald was in the Army. After returning to Henderson, she worked in several factories staying longest at Tennalum in Jackson. She then worked at Fisher Auto until she retired due to disability. She loved working in her yard and fishing. She was generally a quiet person but could be quite a cut-up if she knew you well. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by two daughters: Amy Fowler Lucas and fiance Tony Ieus, Melanie Lucas Johnson and husband Anthony both of Henderson; three sisters, Betty J. Smith Woodward of Henderson, Lorraine Smith Peterson (Pete) of Jackson, Doris Smith Patton (Charles) of Byhalia, MS; one brother, Mickey L. Smith of Henderson; 5 grandchildren, Kenneth Shane Fowler (Kentra), Amber Fowler Hartman, Dustin Armstrong, Tristin Armstrong and Dylan Lucas; 2 great grandchildren, Damien Hartman and McKenna Fowler.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Sharon Fisher, Patsy Ann Smith and Nancy Etta Smith and one brother Larry Paul Smith.
