Grace Ricketts
May 12, 1938 — July 7, 2025
Grace Ricketts was born on May 12, 1938 in Clifton, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Newt Maron and Jody Mae Conway Griffin.
On March 9, 1961, she was united in marriage to James Malcolm Ricketts, who preceded his wife in death on June 7, 1982.
Mrs. Ricketts was a member of Clifton Revival Center. She enjoyed sewing and quilting. She also loved watching basketball and spending time with her family.
Grace Ricketts departed this life on Monday, July 7, 2025 in Clifton, Tennessee, at the age of 87 years, 1 month, and 25 days.
She is survived by her sons, Tony Ricketts (Teresa) and Kevin Ricketts; daughter, Christie Simmons (Edward); grandchildren, Shannon Boyd, Elijah Bridges, Cameron Ricketts, and Jordan Howell; and 9 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Grace was preceded in death by her sister, Sally Elizabeth Griffin.
