Grady Lee Tillmon

Grady Lee Tillmon, 78, passed away Monday, February 5, 2024, at Pine Meadows Healthcare Center in Bolivar

Born in Humboldt, TN, he was the son of the late John James Tillmon and Alice Lorena Harbin Tillmon.  He was a resident of the Peavine Road area of Hardeman County for most of his life.

Mr. Tillmon had worked as a timber cutter with his brother, Richard "Buck" Tillmon and attended New Hope Church of Christ in his younger years.  In his leisure time, he enjoyed scrap-metaling, old western movies and regular family gatherings on the second Sunday of every month especially with his nieces and nephews who are his surviving relatives.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Kathleen Borders, Elizabeth Rodgers, Magdalene  Sisco and Carol Ann Rixie; and two brothers, Richard and John Tillmon. 

No public services are scheduled.  His remains will be interred at New Hope Cemetery near his parents.
