Grady Lee Wright of Collinwood, TN was born February 15, 1931 in Lawrence Co., TN, the son of the late Leonard and Ola Wright. He was united in marriage to Willodean Newborn on January 7, 1961.
Mr. Wright was a retired logger and of the Baptist faith. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War.
Mr. Wright departed this life on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at Select Specialty Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 81 Years, 4 Months, 12 Days.
He is survived by his wife, Willodean Wright of Collinwood, TN; a son, Terry Lee Wright of Collinwood, TN; two daughters, Teresa Dianne Marshall and husband, Steve of Murfreesboro, TN, Tammy Annette Springer and husband, David of Florence, AL; three grandchildren, Ashley Marshall, Ryan Marshall, and Austin Littleton; a brother, Leonard Wright Jr. and wife, Betty of Athens, GA; a sister, Ludia Hawyer and husband, Eldon of Lexington, TN; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Wright was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Marguerita Bunch.
Services will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Cromwell Crossroads Church in Collinwood, Tennessee, with Camryn Eaton and Greg Eaton officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Pallbearers will be Tim Newborn, Vincent Newborn, Darrell Sherrill, David Byrd, Shannon Beckham, and Steven Bruce Beckham.
