In loving memory of Gregory Lynn Nixon, who graced our lives with his presence on May 6, 1958, in Selmer, Tennessee. He was the cherished son of the late Casey and Annie Lou King Nixon.
Greg was a man of simple joys—he found delight in watching college football, engaging his mind with word puzzles, and listening to music.
One of his deepest loves was for his devoted dog, Nosey, who brought him companionship and happiness
Greg peacefully departed this life on October 10, 2025, in Selmer, Tennessee, at the age of 67 years, 5 months, and 4 days. He is lovingly remembered by his sister, Shirley Rowland, and her husband, Joe, of Hornsby, Tennessee; his nieces, Debbie Moore of Henderson, Tina Moody of Memphis, and Terry Kirby of Jackson; and his nephew, Keith Rowland, along with his wife, Carol, of Bethel Springs. Greg also leaves behind a host of extended family and friends who will continue to carry his memory in their hearts.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, James (Butch) Nixon.
Greg's gentle spirit and warm heart will be dearly missed, but his legacy will endure through the love and memories he created with those around him. May he rest in peace.
