Guy Brewer

Guy Brewer of Waynesboro, TN was born January 31, 1920 in Waynesboro, Tennessee,the son of the late Buchanan and Mamie McGee Brewer. He was united in marriage to Norma Clark on May 31, 1944 and she preceded him in death on April 29, 2010.Mr. Brewer was a retired plant operator for the City of Waynesboro and was a member of the Waynesboro Church of Christ in Waynesboro, Tennessee. He was a United States Army veteran of WW II and had lived in Caribou, Maine at one time.Mr. Brewer departed this life on Sunday, February 27, 2011 at his home in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 91 Years, 27 Days.He is survived by three sons, Gary Brewer of Mt. Vernon, IL, Jay Brewer of Waynesboro, TN, Robert Brewer of Madison, AL; 6 Grandchildren, nieces and nephews.In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Brewer was preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph Brewer and Vivian Brewer; two sisters, Robbie Brady, Hazel Lutz.Services will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Bobby Pinckley officiating. His body will be cremated and burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens at Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors directing. Visitation will be Thursday, March 3, 2011 from 12:30 until service time at the funeral home.
