Guy Alvin Warren

Guy A. Warren, age 80, a lifelong resident of Clifton, died on Wednesday, February 14, 2007 at his home. He was born and raised in the Beech Creek community, a son of the late Hugh Oscar Warren and Carrie Elizabeth Lineberry Warren. He was preceded in death by brothers, Nicholas B. Warren, James Allen Warren, and Edsel B. Warren. Mr. Warren was a World War II veteran, serving in the U.S. Navy. He was employed by the State of Tennessee as an engineer retiring after 33 years of service. He also was a truck driver for Tim Turnbow for 3 years. Mr. Warren was a member of First Baptist Church of Clifton, Masonic Fraternity Lodge 173, and the Al Menah Temple.



He is survived by his wife of over 56 years, Hazel Burgess Warren;

Daughter, Sandra Geannine Warren Overton; sons, Gary Burgess Warren, and Jerry Dale Warren all of Clifton; and Gerald Alvin Warren of Linden;

sister, Audrey Lucille Sanders of Madisonville, KY



grandchildren; Stephanie Denton, Kandra Barnes, Cassandra Kelley, Kelli Inman, Shelley Warren, Teresa Ricketts, Gindy Shelby, Gary Warren II, Jeremy Warren and Miranda Prater;



great grandchildren, Dustin Denton, Donovan Denton, Jessica Hickerson, Cameron Ricketts, Dillon Allen, Walker Allen, Jordan Kelley, Dominique Kelley, Harley Kelley, Dresdan Barnes Dyer Barnes, Jayanna Inman, Daylee Inman, and Hayden Moore.
