Harbet Gene Copeland
June 1, 1937 — January 22, 2024
Harbet Gene Copeland was born on June 1, 1937 in Hardin County, Tennessee, the son of the late Cecil Harbet and Mamie Sue Clement Copeland.
On January 2, 1964, he was united in marriage to Nanny Sue Pickens, who preceded her husband in death on June 3, 1998.
Mr. Copeland worked as a truck driver and was a member of Spoken Word Church. He will be greatly missed.
Harbet Gene Copeland departed this life on January 22, 2024 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 86 years, 7 months, and 21 days.
He is survived by his sons, Randy Copeland of Savannah, Tennessee, David Copeland of Huntsville, Alabama, and Eddie Copeland of Adamsville, Tennessee.
In addition to his wife and parents, Harbet was preceded in death by his brothers, Douglas Copeland, Kenneth Copeland, and Billy Copeland and sisters, Pauline Davis and Barbra Rose.
