Harold Dewayne Jarrett
was born in Hardin County, Tennessee the son of the late George H. (Boss) and Mary Madgeline Stinnett Jarrett.
Mr. Jarrett was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp and worked as a self-employed contractor. He was raised in the Old Union Community and was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Savannah.
He departed this life on January 25, 2007 at his residence in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 75 years, 10 months and 16 days.
Mr. Jarrett is survived by 2 daughters: Brenda Sue Jarrett and Lovie Jean Jarrett, both of Savannah, Tennessee; 3 sons: Douglas Wayne Jarrett, Harold Ray Jarrett and Ronnie Wayne Jarrett, all of Savannah; 17 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren;
5 great-great-grandchildren; 2 sisters: Georgie Love of Columbia, Tennessee and Barbara Jarrett of Savannah, Tennessee; 5 brothers: Levon Jarrett of Morris Chapel, Tennessee, Edward Jarrett of Columbia, Tennessee, Charles Jarrett of Savannah, Tennessee, Ernest Jarrett of Morris Chapel, Tennessee and Robert Jarrett of Adamsville, Tennessee.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one grandchild, Joshua Eric Jarrett; one great-great-grandchild, Christian Scotty Shoemake; a sister, Louise Smith and an infant sister.
