Harold Johnson departed this life on Saturday, May 31, 2014, at the age of 94 years, 1 month, 22 days.
He was born in Arthyde, Minnesota on April 9, 1920, the son of the late Alfred and Ellora Speed Johnson. He married Juanita Christine Melson in 1952. She preceded him in death in May 1990.
Harold joined the United Stated Army in 1942 and served in W.W.II. He was honorably discharged in 1945. He had lived in Lutts, Tennessee from 1955 until 1990 and Gillis Mills, Tennessee from 1990 until 2007. He had worked for Seager Refrigeration in Minnesota and Hassell & Hughes Lumber in Collinwood, Tennessee. Harold was a very hard worker, strong, and honest. He was very organized, he never felt sorry for himself or complained. Harold liked to help people and would give to anyone. He was a member of the Lutts Baptist Church.
He is survived by a sister, Evelyn McClevis and husband Franklin of Barnum, Minnesota.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by sisters, Hazel Worcherster and Ethel Larson; brothers, Ervin Johnson, Marvin Johnson, and 3 infant brothers.
