Harold Lewis Lee of Waynesboro, TN was born September 13, 1942 in Waynesboro, Tennessee, the son of the late Homer Lewis Lee and Bertha Louise Dugger Lee Martin. He was united in marriage to Carolyn Evans on June 1, 1963.
Mr. Lee was a retired meter serviceman with TVEC, a member of the Wayne Furnace Church of Christ in Waynesboro, Tennessee, and a member of IBEW.
Mr. Lee departed this life on Monday, May 2, 2011 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 68 Years, 7 Months, 19 Days.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Evans Lee of Waynesboro, TN; a son, Thomas Edward Lee of Clifton, TN; a daughter, Carol Ann Lee of Waynesboro, TN; five grandchildren, Victoria Ashley Lee, John Carter Lewis Bates, Michael Brandon and Christopher Ray Donegan, Jessica Elaine Brewer; five great-grandchildren, Bryanna, Bethany, Trenton, and Olivia Donegan, Jaylee Brewer; brother, Billy Joe Lee of Old Hickory, TN; sister, Jewel Dean Copeland of Waynesboro, TN; step-brother, Gene Martin of Dickson, TN; stepsister, Joyce Calton of Georgia; nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Lee was preceded in death by his step-father, Chester Harrison Martin and step-brother, William Martin.
Services will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel, Waynesboro, Tennessee, with officiating Bobby Pinckley and Cary Crews officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Hardin County, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Waynesboro, directing. Pallbearers will be Brandon Donegan, Christopher Donegan, Clay Odom, Mike Wilson, Jerroll Henderson, and Terry Franks.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 3, 2011 from 6 pm to 9 pm and Wednesday, May 4, 2011 from 8 am until service time at the funeral home.
