Harold B. Montgomery

Harold B. Montgomery of Florence was born July 14, 1936 in Wayne County, TN the son of the late Elmer Montgomery and Mamie Hanback. Mr. Montgomery departed this life on March 10, 2018 at Keller Landing Mursing Home in Tuscumbia, Alabama at the age of 81 Years, 7 Months, 24 Days. He served in the U.S. Army from December 16, 1959 until March 8, 1962.
He is survived by two daughters, Chestene LaDelle (Dell) Montgomery of Memphis, TN and Lynn McGinnis of Birmingham, AL, a brother, Gerald (Jerry) Montgomery of Florence, AL. In additional to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Carlton Ajell Montgomery.
Services will be Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Collinwood, Tennessee with Tim Hanback officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery near Cypress Inn, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:30 - 8:00 PM and Wednesday from 11:00 AM until service time.
