Harold Dwight Thompson

Dwight Thompson was born September 7, 1949 in Wayne County, TN the son of the late Leonard and Ruby Daniel Thompson. Mr. Thompson died Saturday, December 28, 2013 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville at the age of 64 Years, 3 Months, 21 Days. He was retired from Murray Ohio Manufacturing in Lawrenceburg.

He is survived by sons, Phillip Thompson and his wife Stacey of Waynesboro, Jamie Thompson of Collinwood, and Shane Thompson of Waterloo, AL, a daughter, Melody Todora of Iron City,
7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, four brothers, Dennis Thompson, Larry Thompson,
Joe Thompson, and Donald Thompson, a sister, Reba Thompson all of Collinwood, several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Thompson was preceded in death by a brother, Dwaine Thompson and a sister, Regina Thompson.

Services will be Sunday, December 29, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Chapel in Collinwood with Junior Daniel officiating. Burial will follow in Butler Grove Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.
