Harrison Gerry Harris

Harrison Gerry Harris was born July 31, 1948 in McNairy County, TN the son of the late William Walter and Ruth Maybell Eliff Harris.

Mr. Harris graduated from Chester County High School in 1966. Following graduation, he served in the United States Navy aboard the U.S.S. Cleveland. Mr. Harris was employed by General Electric in Selmer, TN for many years. He was a 32nd degree Mason and member of Adamsville Lodge 338 and the Al Chymia Shrine Temple in Memphis. Mr. Harris was also an active member of the Auxillary Police and the American Legion.

Mr. Harris departed this life on July 17, 2015 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 66 Years, 11 Months, 17 Days. He is survived by a daughter, Tracy Harris Broocks (Jonathan) of Columbus, MS; a son, Gerry Brooks Harris (Amanda Marie) of Fayetteville, GA; four grandchildren: Christopher Blake Harris, Laura Grace Broocks, Mary Kate Broocks,and Rainey Leigh Broocks; two sisters, Jan Crans (Daniel Feazell) of Adamsville, TN and Loretta Plunk of Finger, TN; a brother, Larry Harris (Maudie) of Savannah, TN; 4 nephews; 2 nieces; and many extended family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Harris was preceded in death by a sister, Frances Fields, as well as a nephew and niece.
