Harry G. Duncan, Jr. was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on August 30, 1947, the son of the late Harry Gird and Marie Maxine Shea Duncan. On May 14, 1982, he was united in marriage to Jeanette Delane Weeks, who survives. Harry departed this life on January 13, 2018, at the age of 70 years, 4 months, and 14 days.
Harry served his country in the United States Army and was a member of the Shiloh Golf Course. In his lifetime, he worked at Waterway, Inc. in Iuka, Mississippi and Aqua Glass for 26 years. Harry loved golfing and spending time with his grandchildren. Being with his family and eating at various restaurants with the other members of his breakfast club were some of his favorite things to do.
In addition to his wife, Harry is survived by his daughter, Ashlee Dycus and husband Blake of Adamsville, Tennessee; sisters, Ann Dixon and husband Frank of Adamsville, Tennessee and Janice Plunk of Savannah, Tennessee; brothers, Tommy Duncan and wife Rebecca of Adamsville, Tennessee and Larry Duncan of Savannah, Tennessee; and grandchildren, Evan and Jocelyn Dycus.
Along with his parents, Harry was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Calvin Plunk.
