Hazel Palmer

HAZEL COATS PALMER

was born in Adamsville, Tennessee on October 4, 1925 the daughter of the late Thomas Reed and Grace Pearl Younger Coats.

In June of 1946 she was united in marriage to Romulus Aubrey Palmer, who preceded his wife in death on May 27, 2012. She was a devoted wife for 66 years.

Hazel retired from First American Bank, where she served as a loan officer and I.R. A. Consultant. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Adamsville, Tennessee.

Hazel lived a full, long, happy life. She was a member of our "Greatest" generation. Hazel was a survivor of both the Great Depression and World War II.

She departed this life on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 94 years, 9 months and 10 days.

Hazel is survived by her two children, Thomas W. Palmer and Ronda Durr; grandchildren, Thomas Warren Palmer, Andrew Palmer Durr, Julie Diane VerHulst, and Emily Paige Blount; six great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
