Hazel B. Warren of Clifton, TN was born September 1, 1928 in Decatur, AL the daughter of the late Frank Burgess and Audrey Burgess. A life long resident of Wayne County, she departed this life on May 25, 2016 at Savannah Health Care and Rehab Center in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 87 Years, 8 Months, 24 Days. Mrs. Warren, a nurse at Wayne County General Hospital, was one of the first charter members of First Baptist Church in Clifton, TN. She was married to Guy A. Warren August 28, 1949 and he preceded her in death February 14, 2007. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Warren was preceded in death by a brother, Walter R. Camfield, and sisters, Connie M. Camfield and Mary E. Ferguson.
She is survived by three sons, Gary B. Warren and wife Nancy of Clifton, TN, Gerald A. Warren and wife Patricia of Linden, TN, Jerry D. Warren and wife Teresa of Clifton, TN, a daughter, Sandra Geannine Warren Overton Eaves of Clifton, TN, ten grandchildren, Stephanie McGee and husband Terry of Clifton, TN, Miranda Williams and husband T.J. of Blakely, GA, Gary Burgess Warren II and wife Kelsey of Clifton, TN, Teresa Ricketts and husband Tony of Clifton, TN, Gindy Shelby and husband Shaun of Clifton, TN, Kandra Barnes and husband Billy of Hohenwald, TN, Kelli Inman and husband J.P. of Linden, TN, Cassandra Kelley and husband Chris of Clifton, TN, Shelley Bridges and husband Eli of Clifton, TN, and Jeremy Warren, seventeen great grandchildren, Dustin Denton, Donovan Denton, Cameron Ricketts, Jessica Hickerson, Dillon Allen, Walker Allen, Dresden Barnes, Dyer Barnes, Jordan Kelley, Dominique Kelley, Harley Kelley, Brenlee Bridges, Madison Bridges, Daylee Inman, Jayanna Inman, Maddox Inman, and Hayden Moore,and great nieces and great nephews.
Services will be Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 1:00 PM at First Baptist Church in Clifton, Tennessee, with Donnie Craig officiating. Burial will follow in the Clifton Cemetery at Clifton, Tennessee with Shackelford funeral Directors in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00-9:00 PM and Saturday from 9:00 Am until service time at the church. Pallbearers are Dustin Denton, Donovan Denton, Gary Warren, Jason Camfield, Jeremy Warren, Dresden Barnes, Billy Barnes, and J.P Inman. Honorary pallbearers are Dyer Barnes and Maddox Inman.
