Henderson, TN: Helen Weaver Rowland, age 81 passed away July 25, 2009 at the Chester County Health Care.
She was born and reared in Chester County, in the Cave Springs Community. She was the daughter of the late K.D. ‘ Kodie’ and Martha Russom Weaver. She attended Chester Co. Schools. She was married to Howard Woodrow Rowland in 1945. They lived in Indiana for 11 years and then made their home in the Cave Springs Community. Mr. Rowland died in 1966. Mrs. Rowland loved to garden and also loved to cook for her family. She loved taking care of her family. She was Lutheran in belief.
She is survived by her son Boyd Rowland of Henderson and two sisters Georgia Smith of Selmer and Jurilee Rouse of Henderson.
She was preceded in death by a brother Jessie Weaver in 2004 and a sister Dorothy Morton in 2008.
