Helen Farris Whitaker was born March 12, 1956 in Selmer, TN the daughter of the late Bill and Faye Lowe Whitaker.
Helen was united in marriage to Ricky Whitaker on March 20, 1976. Mr. Whitaker preceded her in death on June 15, 2011. She had worked for ITT in Corinth, MS and retired from GE in Selmer. She enjoyed sewing and had a gift when it came to crafting of all kinds.
Mrs. Whitaker departed this life on December 6, 2020 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 64 Years, 8 Months, 24 Days.
She is survived by a son, Brad Whitaker of Tiptonville, TN; a sister, Vicky Carroll and husband Don of Selmer, TN; nephews, Allen Carroll and wife Amanda of Omaha, NE and Nick Carroll and wife Jena of Adamsville, TN; great nephews, Raylan and Beau Carroll both of Omaha, NE.
Private graveside service at Lebanon Cemetery.
