Helen Wilson, a devoted mother, homemaker, and woman of steady faith, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2026, at the age of 93. Born on January 24, 1933, in McNairy County, Tennessee, she was the beloved daughter of the late Jessie James Wilson and Johnnie Cordelia Russell Wilson.

Early in life, Helen moved to Chicago in search of factory work, embracing new opportunities with determination. Later, she focused her time and energy on her true calling as a dedicated homemaker. She took immense pride in her home, keeping it meticulously clean, orderly, and welcoming for those around her.

Helen was a faithful and active member of The Church of Christ until her health began to decline. In her quiet hours, she found great joy in watching classic television westerns, especially favorites like Gunsmoke, The Rifleman, and Bonanza.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Stanley Wallace; her daughter, Linda Hickman; and all of her brothers and sisters: Lloyd Hill, Opal Kiser, Myrtle Wilson, James Wilson, Josie Wilson, Vardeman Wilson, and Pete Wilson.

She is survived by her loving son, Roger Pinion; her dear cousins, Joe Hill, Betty Hill, Freida, Arless, Myrtle, Betty Jewel, and Marty; along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will fondly remember her care and legacy.
