Henry Melson

Henry Melsonwas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on December 16, 1954 the son of the late Henry Harrison and Ruby Lee Bratton Melson.On May 2, 1984 he was united in marriage to Sandra Ann Ward, who survives.Mr. Melson was a laborer at Rose's Sawmill for 20 years. He loved fishing, hunting, camping, raising chickens, and playing with his grandchildren. He was a member of the River Heights Pentecostal Church.Mr. Melson departed this life on Sunday, February 13, 2011 at the age of 56 years, 1 month, 28 days.In addition to his wife, Sandra, he is survived by 4 daughters, Joanna Garner and Pamela Lee Melson both of Savannah, Tennessee, Bethina Garner of Camden, Tennessee and Melissa Ann Childers of Starkville, Mississippi; a son, Henry Arnold of Savannah, Tennessee; 7 grandchildren, Olivia, Caleb, Derrick, Colton, Tamara, Spencer, and Henry II; 2 sisters, May Dene McMasters and Nelda Lee Arvick of both of Savannah, Tennessee; a brother, Bobby Dean Melson of Savannah, Tennessee.
