Henry Lee Nance

HENRY LEE “Duck” NANCEPinson, TN: Henry Lee Nance, age 66, died June 18, 2009 at his home.He was born in Chester County, the Montezuma Community and spent most of his life at Bemis the son of the late Daniel Lloyd and Minnie Dee Howell Nance. He went to school at Bemis and worked in construction work all his life. He worked for Whalley Construction, Deviney Construction and Dement Construction, laying underground cable, operating a trencher. He was married to Dorothy Louise Glidewell in 1980 and they continued to make their home at Bemis. Mrs. Nance died in 2007. He moved to Pinson 3 years ago.He is survived by a son, Jasper Byrum of Medon; two daughters, Liz Page of Jackson and Virgie Byrum of Pinson; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren; two brothers, Mickie Nance of Pinson and Frank Nance of Jackson. He was preceded in death by four sisters, infant sisters LaFenya and Joyce Nance, and Mageline Moore and Betty Jo Stanfill.
