Herbert Brown

Herbert Brown was born on August 26, 1951 in Simpson County, Mississippi, the son of the late John Ephraim and Gracie Gertrude Lucas Brown.

Herbert was a farmer, farming for other farmers and Perry Farms in Tunica, Mississippi.  In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, watching wrestling and westerns, and spending time with his family.  Herbert loved all animals and was a great father and wonderful husband.

He departed this life on Friday, April 12, 2024 in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 72 years, 7 months, and 17 days.

Herbert is survived by his significant other, Margaret Anne Armstrong of Horn Lake, Mississippi; children, Hubert Joseph Brown of Fulton, Mississippi, Elizabeth Ann Stewart (Chris) of Williamsport, Pennsylvania, Jennifer Rose Brown of Williamsport, Pennsylvania, and Misti Armstrong (Brian) of Horn Lake, Mississippi; 16 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; sisters, Mary Kathryn Runnels (Lloyd) of Strayhorn, Mississippi, and Erma Jean Brown of Georgia; and the mother of his children, Mary Helen Blaylock of Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Ellen Marie Brown and Dollie Ezell Brown; and two brothers, John Daniel Brown, and John E. Brown, Jr.
