Services will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home in Collinwood, Tennessee, with James T. Turnbow officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery, Westpoint, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangments.
Visitation will be on Friday, Oct. 12, 6:00-9:00 pm and on Saturday, Oct. 13, 9:00 am untiln service time @ Shackelford Funeral Home, Collinwood.
Mr.Herbert Darnell departed this life on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at his residence in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 65 Years, 9 Months, 1 Day. He was born January 9, 1947 in Wayne Co., TN the son of the late Luther and Lena Mae Butler Darnell. In addition to his parents, Mr. Darnell was preceded in death by wife; Betty Jo Kelly Darnell on July 16, 2010.
Mr. Darnell was a factory worker with Murray Ohio .
He is survived by sons, Randy Keith Darnell and wife Crystal of Westpoint, TN, Daryl Wayne Darnell and wife Darlene of Iron City, TN, Timothy Wade Darnell and wife Callie of Westpoint, TN; 12 grandchildren; brother, Zandall Darnell of Iron City, TN; sister, Norma Lee Todd of Portageville, MO; nieces and nephews.
