Herbert Lee King, 60, of Munford, passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at St. Mary's Hospital in Huntington, West Virginia.
Mr. King was born June 24, 1949 in Bolivar to the late William Lockman King and Ethel Maybelle Evans King. He moved to Memphis when he was 20 and lived most of his life there as a pie maker at Progressive Foods for 24 years. He was Pentecostal in belief.
Survivors include a son, Randy King of Munford; a daughter, Karen LaFon of Huntington, WV; a brother, Jerry Wayne King of Bolivar; his former wife, Jacqueline K. King of Huntington, WV; and three grandchildren, Faith Elizabeth King, Austin James LaFon, and Justin Lane LaFon.
