Herbert B. Moore

HERBERT B. MOOREwas born in Clifton, Tennessee on April 8, 1922 the son of the late Kenny and Annie Simms Moore.On March 26, 1949 he was united in marriage to Cynthia Inez McClain, who preceded her husband in death on December 12, 2003.Mr. Moore was a service station manager for John Pearson Amoco. He was a United States Army and National Guard Veteran. Mr. Moore was a former member of the VFW. He loved fishing, sports and he loved picking and canning fruit. Mr. Moore departed this life on November 11, 2011 at the VA Medical Center in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 89 years, 7 months and 3 days.He is survived by 2 sons, Alan Moore and wife Gloria of Memphis, Tennessee and Greg Moore and wife Debbie of Cordova, Tennesseeone daughter, Patricia Moore of Memphis, Tennessee5 grandchildren, Justin, Alanna, Daniel, Zachary and Kaylin Moore3 great grandchildren, Jackson, Carter and Jacob MooreHe was also survived by several nieces and nephewsIn addition to his parents and his wife, he was also preceded in death by one brother, W. S. Moore and 2 sisters, Hazel Lynch and Nancy Bleu
