Hershel Leon McWilliams

Hershel Leon McWilliams of Collinwood, TN was born March 13, 1943 in Wayne County, TN, the son of the late Roy McWilliams and Mamie Dixon McWilliams Haddock. He was united in marriage to Frances Haddock on December 26, 1964.Mr. McWilliams was a timber cutter and a member of the Collinwood Church of God in Collinwood, Tennessee. Mr. McWilliams departed this life on Thursday, January 17, 2013at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 69 Years, 10 Months, 4 Days.He is survived by his wife, Frances Haddock McWilliams; a son, Jeffery Leon McWilliams and wife, Emma; and a daughter, Jenny McWilliams Chambers and husband, Rusty of Collinwood, TN; grandchildren, Ryan McWilliams, Rylee McWilliams, Rhianna McWilliams, Seth Chambers all of Collinwood, TN; brothers, Willard McWilliams of Waynesboro, TN and Larry Haddock and Terry Haddock both of Collinwood, TN; nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, Mr. McWilliams was preceded in death by brothers, James and Richard McWilliams; sister, Carolyn Haddock.Services will be held on Sunday, January 20, 2013 at 3:00 PM at Collinwood Church of God, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Chad Balentine and Richard Bane officiating. Burial will follow in the McCall Cemetery, Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing.Pallbearers will be Ryan McWilliams, Seth Chambers, Derek Haddock, Larry Haddock, Jr., Dewayne Haddock, Dewayne Dickey.
