Hester A. Baker

Mr. Baker passed away Friday night, June 14, 2013, at Pine Meadows Healthcare in Bolivar.
He was a born in Hardeman County, the son of the late Frank and Winnie Brint Baker. He lived all of his life here. On July 16, 1933, he married Jewell Rook and they were married 57 years before her passing on Saturday, December 15, 1990. Mr. Baker was a member of the Bolivar First Baptist Church. He also had attended Hornsby Baptist Church for many years. An avid fisherman, he worked as a self-employed truck driver.
He leaves his daughter, Anne B. Wilkins, of Bolivar; and his grandson, James Wilkins and his wife, Theresa, of Memphis. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by 7 brothers and sisters.
