HILDA BARTON

Hilda Weidinger Barton, 94, passed away on June 30, 2023, at the Henderson Nursing Home. She was born on February 6, 1929, in Linz, Austria. Hilda was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Martha Sharp of Collierville, TN; her sons Johnny Young of Germantown, TN, and Mike Young of Tunica, MS; two brothers and one sister all of Austria, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Hilda was preceded in death by her husband William Perry Barton.

Hilda was a kind and compassionate person, and she loved all her family. She enjoyed crocheting, vegetable gardening, and crossword puzzles.

She was a member of the Plainview Church of Christ, where she worshipped with her family.

Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Monday July 3, 2023, at Chester County Memory Garden with Terry Johnson officiating.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Plainview Church of Christ or St. Jude in Hilda’s memory.

Rest in peace, Hilda. You will be greatly missed by all who knew you.
