Hobart C. Hart, Jr.

Hobart C. Hart, Jr. was born in Roane County, Tennessee on October 6, 1929, son of the late Hobart C. Hart, Sr. and Dollie Harvey Hart. He was united in marriage to Lora Ileen Simpson on November 21, 1953. Mr. Hart worked for 35 years as an electrician with the Tennessee Valley Authority and was a member of IBEW.He was a Mason and a member of Cave Creek Baptist Church in Kingston, Tennessee. He has lived in Selmer for 38 years.Mr. Hart departed this life on Sunday, January 24, 2010 at McNairy Regional Hospital at the age of 80 years, 3 months, 18 days.Survivors are his wife of 56 years, Lora Ileen Simpson Hart of Selmer; two sons, Larry W. Hart and wife Sharon of Selmer, Michael J. Hart of Adamsville;a sister, Faye Burnett and husband W. D. of Lenoir City, Tennessee; three brothers, William Hart and wife Brenda of Loudon, Tennessee, Johnny Hart and wife Jean of Lenoir City, Chester Hart and wife Teresa of Maryville, Tennessee; four grandchildren, Lani Coats and husband Josh, Austin Hart and wife Crystal, Kayla Hart, Marcus Hart; a great-granddaughter, Lillian Coats. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
