HOWARD CREEKMOREwas born in Cherokee, Alabama on December 15, 1935 the son of the late Truman and Minnie Horton Creekmore.On October 7, 1979 he was united in marriage to Geneva Etheridge Hosea Kerr, who survives.Mr. Creekmore retired after 25 years from Kaiser Steel. He was a member of Mt. Hermon Baptist Church. Mr. Creekmore helped build Pickwick Southside School and he also worked for Savannah Housing Authority for 16 years. Mr. Creekmore enjoyed listening to gospel music and loved attending church. Mr. Creekmore loved to work on cars and he was a good mechanic. He departed this life on October 22, 2009 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 73 years, 10 months and 7 days.Other than his wife Geneva of Savannah, Tennessee he is survived by one son, Howard Michael Huls of Nyssa, Oregon and 3 daughters, Dianne Huls of Boise, Idaho, Sherri Johns and Vicky King, both of Lebanon, Oregon.5 grandchildren and several great-grandchildrenone sister, Dean Elizabeth Smith of Belton, Texas and 2 brothers, Charles Creekmore of Sun City, California and Truman Gene Creekmore of Kenosa, Wisconsin.
