Howard William “Bill” Jordan was born on September 13, 1940, in Vancouver, Washington, the son of the late William Howard and Lenoir Geno Jordan.
He was married to Jimmie Jordan on October 26, 1963, with whom he shared many years of love and life until her passing on January 3, 2008.
He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Following his service, he built a career as a dedicated steel fabricator and welder, taking great pride in his work and craftsmanship. He was a member of the Selmer Moose Lodge, the American Legion, and the VFW, where he enjoyed fellowship and camaraderie with many friends.
Bill was a man who found joy in the simple things in life. He loved fishing, cooking and enjoying barbeque, and spending time with his family, whom he loved deeply. His family was the center of his world, and he cherished every moment spent with them. He also shared a special bond with his beloved dog, Sadie, who brought him much comfort and companionship.
Mr. Jordan departed this life on April 14, 2026, in Jackson, Tennessee, at the age of 85 years, 7 months, and 1 day.
He leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish his memory: two daughters, Rhonda Shields and husband James of Hornsby, Tennessee, and Lisa Galton and husband Kevin of Kentucky; two sons, Brian Jordan and fiancée Jennifer Ross of Finger, Tennessee, and Christopher Jordan and wife Carol of Walnut Grove, Tennessee; 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; and two sisters, Tiny Jordan of Vancouver, Washington, and Patty Ford of Vancouver, Washington.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Jordan was preceded in death by his wife, Jimmie Jordan, and his stepfather, Mr. Ford.
Though he is no longer with us, the love he gave, the lessons he taught, and the memories he created will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
