Mr. Watkins passed away Wednesday morning, September 14, 2011 at Methodist Health Care in Somerville.
Born October 5, 1921 in Benton County, Mississippi to Eddie and Rebecca Gray Watkins he was a farmer and lived most of his life in Grand Junction. He married Dorothy Daniel March 29, 1950, who survives, was a member of Grand Junction First Baptist Church and served his country in the US Army.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by 2 daughters, Karen Brinkley of Marian, AR and Becky Gregory of Collierville; and by 4 grandchildren Amy and Daniel Gregory and Connor and Claire Brinkley.
