Hubert Lee Jones was born August 12, 1926 in Ramer TN, the son of the late John Robert and Rosie King Jones.
Mr. Jones was a member of the Antioch Church of Christ in Ramer, TN. He was a farmer and also worked for the TN Department of Transportation for 43 years. He loved John Deere Tractors, gardening, rabbit hunting and bingo.
Mr. Jones departed this life on May 6, 2016 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 89 Years, 8 Months, 24 Days.
He is survived by two daughters, Glenda Ann Smith and husband Jerry of Ramer, TN, Teresa Lee Prather; six grandchildren: Angie Browder and husband Robert, Chuck Forman and wife Mandy, Kim Smith and husband Jeff, Scottie Matlock and wife Tammy, Corey Prather and wife Tammy, Dustin Smith; nine great grandchildren: Drew Forman, Justin Browder, BreAnna Browder, Madalyn Browder, Hunter Nunn, Colton Nunn, Dalton Nunn, Jaylee Smith, Cy Matlock; a grt-grt-grandchild, Teegan Browder.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Jones was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Nina Mae King Jones; a daughter, Sheila Neal Matlock; a son, Danny Gene Jones; a sister, Lessie Robinson; a brother, Buford Jones; a grandchild, Brandon Prather.
