Hubert Jack McLin

Hubert Jack Mclin of Savannah, Tennessee departed this life on Saturday, May 27, 2023, peacefully surrounded by family and friends. He was born in Hardin County, son of the late James Carl and Flora Hill Mclin. He was united in marriage to Barbara Downing Mclin, who preceded him in death in 2010.

Mr. Mclin worked in the timber industry his entire life. He enjoyed tending to his small animal farm on the side. He loved gardening, fishing, rabbit and deer hunting and spending time telling old stories to his family and friends. 

He is survived by his children, Scottie (Natalie) Mclin, Hassell (Teresa) Mclin of Savannah, Tennessee and Kelly (Donnie) Long of Collinwood, Tennessee. He was blessed with 16 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren. He is survived by one sister, Carolyn Sue Bryant of Adamsville, Tennessee; and sister-in-law, Wanda French of Savannah, Tennessee.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Donna Mclin Garrard; 6 sisters, and 4 brothers.
