Hugh Wayne Littlefield

Hugh Wayne Littlefield was born August 15, 1917 in McNairy County, Tennessee the son of the late John Luther and Ollie Littlefield. He was united in marriage to Maxine Browder on December 25, 1940. Mrs. Littlefield preceded him in death on July 9, 2006.Mr. LIttlefield was a retired Merchant in Selmer and Adamsville, having operated Littlefield's Casual Clothes for 30 years. He was also a veteran of the United States Navy, having served during World War II. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Selmer. Mr. Littlefield departed this life on February 11, 2007 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 89 Years, 5 Months, 27 Days. He is survived by a daughter, Olivia Littlefield Sibley of Nashville, Tennessee; a son, Gregory Littlefield and wife Elizabeth of Selmer, Tennessee; three grandchildren: Joshua Sibley of Nashville, Tennessee, Tim Littlefield and Mary White, both of Houston, Texas; and two great-grandchildren: Lacey White and Keeley White, both of Houston, Texas. In addition to his parents and spouse, Mr. Littlefield was also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Jerry Sibley, a brother, Morus Littlefield, and a sister, Kittye Littlefield.
