Mrs. Ia Lo Vu, age 94 of Medon, departed this life Thursday, March 8, 2012 at Bolivar General Hospital in Bolivar, Tennessee.
She was born in Laos June 15, 1917 to the late Youa Lee and Chong Tou Lo. She was united in marriage to Za Houa Vu, who preceded her in death in 1977. She worked as a homemaker and had lived in this area since 2005. She enjoyed caring for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Vu is survived by three sons, See Sun Vu of Toone, Ly Vu of Medon, and Ger Vu of Fresno, California; a daughter, Chia Vu of France; a sister, Chia Lo of Merced, California; a brother Tong Ger Lo of St. Paul, Minnesota; twenty-seven grandchildren and twenty-six great-grandchildren.
